    I joined the club.

The two main things I wanted were a fingerprint reader and the better screen. How do you guys think I did? I also have a legal copy of Vista Ultimate 64 ready to install when I get it.

So i just got my refurb e6400 and everything is fine it seems except that the left button on the touchpad sticks. When i click anywhere near the top of it, it stays down unless i hit the bottom part of the button. This is already getting really annoying because i'm triple clicking things, dragging stuff and what not.

So my question is does anyone know a simple fix for this? Could Dell fix this if i sent it back to them under the warranty?

My right click button did that, but within a month of use it got worn in and stopped sticking.

On my 3 Latitude E6400 that I had, and the one I have now, never had this.

Replacing the trackpad mouse buttons means replacing the lam reset. For this I would suggest to mail in the machine, because when I replaced my palm rest sometime ago, the technician worked on my system for 4 hours, didn't know how to pull if off properly and scratch the base and the system failed to work as they are too many small connectors. This is when I got my fourth system. (the first one had a dent on the screen bezel and teh system was replaced immediately.)

Well, my left trackpad button didn't stick, but made a creaking sound and was a bit hard to move. But it disappeared after about a month of use, just as with SpeedyMods..

Anyone having problems at startup? All I get is a blinking underscore.

    Running BIOS now.

Have had the E6400 for about a month.

Teacheric, contact Dell tech support for this issue. It fast, and you'll get a proper answer to your problem. From my experience, you will not talk with an outsourced staff, and they won't treat you as an idiot. Also, you paid for that server... why not use it.

    Thanks, GoodBytes.

    Got the Error Code: 0F00:137B

Message: "CDRW_1 - Disk is missing/blank, insert Data Disk (Example: RCD)"

I'm assuming the RCD is the Recovery CD, right?
