I found out that u have Intel graphics one..
which one uses more energy, quadro or intel?

do you think the LED screen+ additional accessories worth the price?

Quadro uses about 2W more power in idle; I'm not sure about load. Probably significantly more, though the NVS160M is "only" rated at like 12W. I think the LED screen is a very worthwhile option... most accessories and other piddly bits (BT, fingerprint reader, etc), not so much.

Actually, I have the Quadro. The Quadro uses considerably more energy when stressed, and it is more powerful.

The LED screen is a great option: the screen is brighter and it uses less power. Also, it deteriorates less over time.

Intel, I THINK, you have about 30min more of battery life over the Quadro. If you THINK you'll want to play games, than go with the Quadro, else the Intel will fit your needs. Note: The Quadro is not a heater, if you are thinking of temp differences I don't think you will notice it, as the laptop uses it's whole metal base as a heat sink as well. Palm rest and keyboard is light warm, and warm when you game.
When the battery was new, I was able to stretch my system to 9-hours. Now I can for about 8h - 8h 30, despite having Vista saying I only 7hours and half.

When the power is not attached the video card goes at these speed:
    - Core clock: 182 MHz
    - Memory clock: 100 MHz
    - Shader clock: 364 MHz

If you plug it, it will go faster, and follow what your system needs up to max speed which is:
    - Core clock: 580 MHz
    - Memory clock: 400 MHz
    - Shader clock: 1450 MHz

Yes. It's very bright, great for outdoor view. And consume about the same power. It's so bright that sometimes when I am in class rooms I want to diminish the screen brightness (in the sense that "I don't need so much brightness, why waist energy"), but I can't because it's already on minimum. :)
~50% brightness is like max from a standard laptop screens, from real time view (no special equipment was used to calculate this).

Driven01: I have the same problem with one of my Dell E6400's - several freezes per day. I just updated the bios from a09 to a12 and I hope this fixes it. Did you ever figure out the problem for your laptops? I'm running XP sp3.

A laptop that freezes is really bad during a presentation.

When you press FN+F2 do you see the that the yellow-orange power icon disappear? Make sure it's not showing. Turn off your laptop, unplug the battery and plug it back in. Turn back on your machine. Make sure that the power cable that connects to the laptop has a blue light around it (this indicate that the power adapter has power).
If it's just Windows now animating the animation, it's ok... it's recharging.

    2 Questions:

    1. The WXGA LED 1280x800 VS. WGXA+ LED 1440x900
is anyone brighter than the other? Or would they be the same brightness since both are LED backlit?
I.E. are there any differences in these besides the screen resolution?

    2. Battery Life Comparison: I am getting about 3.5-4 hours life at 80% brightness on my 9 CELL, WXGA+ P8600 2.4 w/ Nvidia 160 and Intel AGN right now... with browsing the net and doing microsoft office and excel programs.

How would the 6 CELL compare with same processory but with intel graphics card instead of nvidia? Would it be a little less battery life still since a 6 cell? or similar since intel card? or A LOT less than the 9 cell w/ nvidia? thanks for your help...

if you have relative time comparisons that would be beneficial.
