Should i trust a refurb bluetooth module? Should I go for the 370 or the other one (410?)? Do these add any significant amounts of weight, or introduce any new issues that...um, suck?

    thanks all

If PowerMizer was off, your battery life would probably be crap.
I have made a special tool, that allows you to tweak some options on Nvidia graphic card, including Nvidia PowerMizer state. Just wait in a few hours... I am just finishing up minor things (should be done tonight, hopefully). My application, will scan the registry and present to you the available options for your GPU (or driver or system)... it will work on desktops and laptops. I tested it on several system (including Vista 32-bit/64-bit, Win7, XP and even 2000), so far it works great and is rock solid.

Yes I am aware of it. Mine offers additional functionality, and does not screw up the registry. If you system/driver can't handle PowerMizer (for example), it won't screw up the registry, which has potential of screwing up your drivers and video card performance. It will simply not touch it (option will appear disable).
For example, if you are on a desktop computer and your video card support PowerMizer, then only 2 options will be available on or off. The "turn on/off on battery" will be disabled.

I bought mine (DP-HDMI) from Dell, using a 25% off coupon which comes up quite often. You sometimes see the free shipping coupon instead, but it ends up being the same price. $21 shipped. The Dell one comes with a short cable. The monoprice one probably will work also.

There is an owner who is selling his DP/HDMI cable for $16 shipped. Look at posts 3 or 4 days ago.

If you trust buying a refurbished E6400, I don't see why you should worry about the BT which goes for about $10.

I have one issue with the 370: in Vista 64 sometimes the mouse does not work after wakeup from sleep. In Windows 7 x64, I lose the scrolling feature of the BT mouse after wakeup from sleep. Other than those wakeup issues, BT works fine with the Dell mouse.

You can also buy the new module from eBay a few bucks cheaper.
