This is a cool trick you can do. I use Firefox, so I don't know if it works in IE.
Firefox allows you to Zoom in/out a page and SAVES the zoom settings for the domain web site (so if you zoom in a page such as hotmail.com, it affect all pages inside hotmail.com). The zoom feature actually zooms in, so pictures, texts, Flash content, etc.. gets bigger.

To zoom in a page with Firefox 3, all you have to do is: Ctrl + "+" (without the quotes)
To zoom out: Ctrl + -
To reset zoom: Ctrl + 0

If you close your web browser and open it back and go to a web site that you previously zoom in/out, it will go to that setting.

    Hope this helps!

Regarding the screen: I got the LG screen, 1440x900.
Exactly left of the DELL-logo on the bottom of the screen my picture seems blueish in comparison to the rest of the picture, which is rather yellowish.
It's only visible on white pages, I can't see it on black or colored pages.
It seems like one of the LEDs or something has a different, colder, color.
    Is that possible?

I have the same screen as you, however I don't have that issue. Probably their where out of LED and the new batch is faulty or that's the new LED's. I would get the display changed. Call Dell to have it done for free.

I'm a bit scared that I don't get an LG screen again. It is not that much of an annoyance really but still... dunno.

Is the Samsung really that bad? I have the Samsung screen and it looks fine--although it is rather cold/bluish. I assumed that was the LED technology. I haven't run any official tests on it so far. Is there anything I'm missing? Should I look at it a certain way to detect its flaws?

I find my LG screen color to warm.... do you want to exchange screen :)
My LG is also LED backlit.

I think that Dell uses the Samsung screen for Intel "GPUs", and LG for Nvidia GPU's. Perhaps their is a screen issue with Samsung + Nvidia.

Hi GeekinE90 - I take it that this fixed your problem? I am having the same freezing problems. In my case I can run my E6400 in the dock and it never freezes. I had it running for a week straight with no freeze. But if I remove it from the dock, and use on power or battery it freezes 2 or 3 times an hour. VERY annoying.

It seems like it might be related to the bluetooth. I notice that the bluetooth light (the little one above the F1 key), and only the blue tooth light, goes dark at the same time it freezes.

I had it running Vista32 and had this problem. I put in a new HDD and installed Vista 64 and am having the same problem so I think must be hardware (and not HDD).

Is replacing all the innards the only solution?
