    Resale value should be controlled by the going rate from Dell Outlet for something similar. You may strike lucky and find a customer who compares your price with a brand new model.

    Odd... The last 10 or systems I've gotten have all come with the screw... I just throw them away though... It's in the part of the box where they put the restore CD's...

    FYI, both my E6510 came with a drive lock screw.

    Is the screw included in the new ones but not in the refurbs then?

    Anyone here who have experienced otherwise? Just curious.

    Just an update, the swap went without a hitch. I was puzzled for a few minutes though as to the directions to remove the bezel were a little confusing.

    About the screw with the optical drive. I guess maybe it depends on the country.
    Because at work desktops that a slim drive like the ones on laptop, and all our laptops (Dell and Lenovo's) and well my own laptop, NEVER provided us with the screws. We have to order them from the manufacture. We have pay 1$ per screw for Lenovo system, Dell sends it us for free.
