Does anyone know if the 9 cell battery protrudes from the laptop on the m4600? Also, any ideas on battery life on either the 6 cell or 9 cell battery on the m4600?

Nice, it's available for purchase...but what's going on here?

No Autodesk certified GPU available for:
    AutoCAD
    Revit

...and only the FirePro 9800 is certified for use with 3ds
edit: Sorry, even the firepro is not certified (was looking at desktop, not mobile version)

Does anyone (Havoctex?) know the specs or panel quality of the non IPS 1920x1080 screen? Is it the same panel, or same quality in terms of viewing angles, color, brightness and contrast as the high gamut XPS15/XPS17 FHD screens? (I think that's the 95% gamut screen).

it's 60% gamut. Should be the same screen as the one in the Latitudes. A lot of people like the FHD screen in the latitudes, but it's not as good as the FHD screen in the T520, W520, XPS15, and other laptops that use the 95% gamut screen.

    Hi.

    I've got a question on the storage-specs of the M4600 (15").
Does this laptop offer two full SATA-ports for normal 2.5" HDD (or SSD)? No Raid config needed).
for example: can i install a 256 gb 2.5" ssd (boot) and a 500 gb 2.5" hdd (data)?

I am a little confused because of the mini-port raid option.

If you choose a secondary HDD, you have to choose the SSD minicard (boot) as the primary, so I assume the answer is no.

Hmm, it seems, the configuration options differ from country to an other...
in the german store, i can configure, in the large enterprise section, a m4600 with a 750 gb hdd AND a 256 gb ssd. no warning pops out, if i try this configuration. i can even put it in the cart.
does someone know the exakt answer?

Err no. Read the Anandtech review. "Dell is offering bare-minimum 72% gamut displays on each of these notebooks".

Going to check the Lenovo gamut specs.

Actually the M6600 FHD is 72% gamut, but the M4600 FHD is 60% according to this page
Dell - Help Me Choose: Displays (click Compare Side-by-Side)

That's where I got the info, unless it's wrong

For the m4600 if it's rgb then it's an ips screen, right?
