I was just messin with ya:)

I have a feeling that the 4600 will handle quite a bit of power and the HSF should be quite beefy.

I thought I saw that the 6600 would get an IPS option later on (June?) any news about that?

The 4600 looks nice, but if I go the heavy big iron laptop route, I'd rather go fairly serious with the graphics. (from what I gather in gaming horsepower: M5950 == 6770M ~= 6570 desktop, M8900 == 6970M ~= 6850 desktop)

So few choices to get a really good screen :( I can name the models on one hand and only a few form factors. (TN need not apply)

Okay, after talking to a guy at work who built his own custom Wacom compatible pressure sensitive notebook (modbook style) he says to avoid N-Trig. There are quite a few videos online with phantom clicks, software issues and the like.

It's not really an artist tool. Avoid if this matters to you.

Does the Precision open up 180 degrees? If you could use the multi-touch as a Wacom, I could see hinge issues arising after extended use, so warranty coverage might be worth getting.

Which precision? I personally wouldn't advise getting the multitouch on the M4600 because it's 1366x768. And Dell does not have a good reputation for having the greatest 15.6" 1366x768 screens in the world, to say the least. If you're an artist then chances are screen quality and resolution matter a lot.

The docking stations for the Mx600 systems are the same as has been used the past 2 years now.
