I have seen the AUO V.0 panels for less than $100.00 Brand New at various laptop screen retailers. I know this may suck, but as a last resort people could always buy one and install it themselves. It's not the most fair solution, but it would at least allow you to keep your laptop and not have to going through replacement after replacement.

I may consider it myself if I ever have any issues.

    Damn.

Ridiculous to have to order an $850 dollar screen, forced to downgrade to the slowest GPU just to avoid the hassle of flicker & returning the unit. :(

Putting me off ordering one at all.

These Precision M6600's support SATA III correct? Or are they just SATA II?

Both 2.5" hard drives do support Sata III. The mSata is Sata II.

Thanks. I may go the mSata route because it is so much smaller, but I can't find any 128GB mSata drives from Intel, Samsung or Crucial. The only one that I find is from OCZ, and I am very sketchy about buying one of those because of the BSOD issues with their SSD's.

Yeah, you should watch them. Did they place a sponge on the table when they flip the machine over? Some of the techs are good and very careful. Observe them when they organize the screws and parts.

I will have them over to office and will be seated right opposite them, like a criminal interrogation.

I don't see much about the Dell System Track and Recovery service.
    System Track | Dell
    1. Does anyone know what it costs?
    2. Can add it to a computer?
    3. Are their any other alternatives?

The only think I understand well is my cell phone because it has a GPS plus uses towers, and I can find it myself for free.

Wait for the Intel 520 Series SSD and for the mSATA, just got for the Intel 320. Combine them for RAID-0 (2 x Intel520 and 1 x Intel320)

    Intel® Solid-State Drive 320 Series

Intel is known for their reliability and consistency, they will also not hide from their mistakes like Microsoft, Nvidia, AMD and others have done many times in the past. Infact they were the one announcing their flaw in the 1st gen SandyBridge before even OEM knew about it. A Total Recall of their products costing Intel billions.

i got this on my 2010 m6500 in Malaysia. problem is there's no website for me to login. and the support / toll free is in UK !

Costs me approx 80 USD per year subscription, if i remember correctly.

Service in provided by AbsoluteSoftware, which is behind LoJAck. Found their hidden app in a windows system folder. I suggest wait a little longer do some research. Intel is providing this service themselves, where you can login from Intel's website.
