Interesting on this PDF, as there is no mention on the M4500. Unless Dell is holding this for a few months.
I also see the XFR, ATG (no surprise here) and e4200 (no ULV processor yet i guess) are not showing as upgraded yet. And no mention on the XT2 either.
    Strange document
I just looked at the complete document and it has the info in the original link.

So, after more than 2 months waiting for my future dream laptop (and even more time searching for it) I finally got tired of waiting :(

If Dell doesn't come up with the Latitude E6410 by tomorrow (which I'm 99.9% sure they won't), I'm pulling the trigger on a Sony Vaio Z11Z9E/B. It's going to be more expensive than it needs to be, I'd be very happy with smaller SSD and 1600x900 on 13" (but 96% of Adobe RGB / 100% of sRGB for an amateur photographer... how can I say no!)..... unfortunately that's the only Z11 configuration that Sony decided to make available in Portugal, but still I'll have Portuguese keyboard layout and a hell of a machine, so I'll be happyyyy :D

Anyway, configuring this baby on SonyStyle Japan yields ~¥290000, which is ~€2350, and I might get it even cheaper than that, so I think I'm getting a very decent deal! :D

For the rest of the resistents over here waiting for THE announcement... good luck! :)

I hear you jqrd. I'm definitely disappointed in the specs of the new models and the amount of time I've had to wait. God only knows much longer we'll have to wait after they actually announce the laptops.

    jgrd,
I am right there with you. I got fed-up waiting and bought a 8540p I was waiting for either the e6510 or M4500 but had enough.

I got fed up with waiting for the Latitude E6510. I was hoping they'd keep 16:10 ratio with 1920x1200 resolution, with updated cpu+mobo+gpu.

So I ordered a T500 with a 1680x1050 resolution screen...sucky thing is, Lenovo takes forever to ship. I'm on a budget so that's why I couldn't let myself get a T510 the way I wanted it.

Good to hear that the E6410 keeps the 16:10 ratio, but I guess that's expected seeing that Lenovo managed to do so with 14.1'''s too. I want to know about the E6510.

This his taken soooo long. I really hope it comes out before my 21 day return period on the Envy is up. These PDFs have given me hope though.

I've been waiting for the new Latitudes to come out, now that I've seen this, I think I'll go with the HP 8440p, Dell is really lagging behind in many areas. I think I am officially saying goodbye to Dell. Really the only thing Dell offers that HP doesn't do better is the XFR series, but Panasonic does Rugged better than Dell, so really Dell is always a compromise. IBM does servers better, so Dell loses there too. Price is the only place Dell seems able to compete, and the price difference isn't worth the headache later, or the constant lagging on Tech refreshes.

Same here - been due for a new work laptop for 2.5 months. They won't do Thinkpad, which is a bummer. Only option is Dell, and no effin way am I going to settle for a 2 yr old processor.
Had them return the E6400 (which was ordered prematurely), and have been using my personal Thinkpad X200, waiting for the refresh..

The computer looks identical to the current latitudes. I really wish it had picked up maybe half the sleekness of the V13 or Adamo. Obviously not as sleek as those, but some of the features would be nice. I understand this is a business laptop, but an in-between would be awesome.

Are there any rumors whether or not the E6410 / E6510 will have Nvidia Optimus switchable graphics as an option?
