New Latitude and Precision's

    I actually ended up getting a Lenovo, quad core for the same price. It should be here tomorrow. My first Lenovo, so we'll see. I personally think they're ugly (especially compared to the HP) but if they perform like they should, then Dell might have lost a few orders from me.

    Same here, couldn't wait for Dell anymore, got a Lenovo x201. Wanted to see what the refresh was going to look like for the E4300, but oh well, Dell lost another sale.

    Sales rep my company does business with said March 30th is the release date for the new Latitudes. Unsure about the Precision line.

    Our rep told me that the Latitudes are estimated for a May release, she had no idea about the Precision line either.

    With the amount of Latitude E sales Dell has been having, a May release seems too far away.

    Hmmm... guess any info should be taken with a grain of salt until we see it on Dell's site then. Looks like even Dell's own sales staff is getting conflicting info.

    They're just low level front line phone hacks....they don't know what marketing and engineering are doing, just what's put on the screen in front of them for them. :D :eek:
