Maybe an error in the configuration options: The photos show models in black and nothing in silver. Perhaps someone thought that the brushed metal finish means silver.

Close examination of the photos suggests that Dell have put a couple of very small rubber bumpers on the top corners of the display bezels and maybe the speakers are larger on the E6410 (the E6510 has enough width for relatively large speakers).

Hm, I think the product photos are all in red or blue or silver - there is no black version.

I beg to differ. Look at one of the back views (for example the 360 degree view). The battery and the back of the hinges are silver and the display back is a darker colour. It's the black brushed metal finish. Personally, i would go for the red. I have that on my E4300 and it is more distinctive.

No it IS actually silver, the slightly darker colour is just because the light hits it in a different angle. You can see it in the 360 view, if you look at it from the side you see the lid has the same colour as the hinges and battery.

And....it has a different texture from the battery so the colour and shine will always be different.

(At first, sorry for my bad english)

    Great news!
I'm searching a few weeks now for a new laptop, the search can be over.
I hope the new Latitude's go one sale in Germany soon as well.

I'm a bit confused about the Graphic Card:
    NVIDIA® NVS 3100M 512MB DDR3

Is that a new card from NVIDIA, i found nothing with google.

Can anyone say something about the NVS 3100M?
Possible to play Games like Anno 1404 or something like that?

    Many thanks!

Both graphics chips used in the new systems (vostro and latitude) are close to one another regarding specs. Vostro having the slight lead by only a few points.

Nothing regarding the US being updated. Checked at 7:52AM Eastern...

The NVS 3100M is currently #107 in notebookcheck's list of mobile CPUs. You can get an indication of its performance by comparison with other GPUs of similar ranking.

It is quite possible that Dell will do something (eg different clock speed) to get different performance from the GPUs in the E6410 and E6510.
