They are also up on the Canadian site. It looks like the exact same as my current e6400 but with the iCore CPU's and upgrade Vid card. The other upgrades like ddr3 won't make much of a difference.

I noticed that as well. I guess they finally did realize that there is an issue with bezel/palm rest scratching. Now...if only the new bezels/palm rests were backwards compatible with the E6400...

Also, looks like they moved the light sensor to top of the bezel... Changed the "media" sound buttons as well. Now, they look bigger and more solid as well. And what is that new button next to the power one? (Oh, it's latitude on)

And I don't understand adding in a multitouch touchpad without making it at least a little bigger...

USB 3.0 is desirable, but a slot loading optical drive is inappropriate for business users. Removing stuck discs is a challenge and support for 8cm discs is patchy. Slot loaders also make interesting noises.

Has anybody seen much about the structural differences between the E6500 and the E6510? I'm wondering what kind of differences I could expect to see that aren't reflected in the specs. Specifically, I'm looking at a new refurb E6500 from the outlet, which would cost $600 or 700. Specs wise, the E6500 would have a Core 2 Duo 3GHz vs. the i5 and it would have a lesser video card. The E6500 however, would have an SSD. Specs wise, I'm not sure if the E6510 upgrade makes sense for the cost, which is why I'm wondering why type of structural differences I could expect. I'm guessing that there would be a slightly improved keyboard (the E6500 one is very nice, but assuming a refresh 2yrs later could improve slightly). Also, I did notice the rubber nubs to help with the bezel mess. I also noticed that the weight is approximately .25 lbs greater for the E6510 versus the E6500.
