Yeah, I saw that. But the 1920x1080 they are offering for the E6510 isn't the high gamut RGB LED. It is just the regular LED with normal contrast and color depth.

It's not exactly customer-friendly that you cannot order the 6410/6510 with Win 7 Home Premium 64bit pre-installed.

If you want a 64bit OS, do you have to shell out an additional $99 to upgrade to Professional x64? Or am I missing something?

Hmm, but the E6510 is only 16:9, is that right? Thank goodness the E6410 and the Lenovo T410 are still 16:10 ... might be the last of the breed. I think the new 14-15" HP EliteBook's are all 16:9 ... :(

Only problem is, there aren't any new decent laptops that have a 16:10 panel with greater than 1440x900 resolution.

... which, luckily, is exactly what I find a great resolution for a 14-inch laptop. Also, 1600x900 on a 15-inch doesn't sound too bad. But 1680x1050 would be better.

It's the 1366x768 or whatever on 15-inch and 17-inch laptops that drives me nuts (well, not really: I use an external display at home, and when I have the time I'll build an external video card to run games, but any prospective and knowledgeable buyer should go nuts over this).

Any new details on a Precision M2500? If it's as light as the E6410 but has a more powerful graphics card (e.g., the workstation equivalent of GT 330M or better), it could be a very cool laptop. Would be interesting to compare it to the HP Envy 14, if that ever comes out.

Agreed. 14" is the perfect size for me, and 1440x900 is just the perfect resolution for it. Anything greater, and stuff gets way too small for me to read. 15" laptops are fine, but for my uses I need it to be a bit more portable. 14" fits the bill just right.
