It does not look like a Latitude E6X20, No trackpoint etc.

    Might be the E5X20 series?

You know, I thought so, but there's a family shot with more than those two "budget" machines..

Trackpoint is there on some of them. Looks like the Precisions are closer to their current design than the Latitudes. Also looks like the E6520 (assuming I am seeing these pics correctly) has a full number pad now.

The German version of notebook check has pretty extensive coverage of the updates, including specifications - Dell Latitude E3 Refresh (E6420, E6520, E5420, E5520) - Notebookcheck.com Tests

Yes, that is the way the E62xx looks :(

Apparently USB 3 is not standard - you have to buy a module for it and swap it out for the optical drive. I could have understood this on the 14, but on the 15 inch model?

Also, the discrete graphics option is the quadro 4200M. Does anybody know anything about this chip?

If I can do 1600x900 and a dedicated or a GOOD integrated GPU then I'm all over a 13 or 14in.

I spy a beefier latch, a continuous bezel bumper, lid grips, and bye-bye DisplayPort, I think.

I spy Latitudes that are uglier than my fugly old M4300! Yuck!!! Looks like cheap HP consumer crap from Walmart. What were they thinking.

Let's see: fugly + 16:9 screens + stupid NumPad offset on 15" models + no USB 3.0 = NO SALE.

Now where am I going to get some nice SB notebooks! Maybe the Precisions are not as bad?

Looks like a huge bezel around both the screen and keyboard. What's that about?

Looks like it is to the right of the eSATA/USB combo port in this pic.

USB are square and that port has angles on the bottom.
