Yo that was so funny, yeah geek squad come to my house and help me out here, just don't damage something if so then its out of your pocket techie! LOL The dell tech told me, " Why do you have the most complicated systems"! lol I said because i never settle for nothing less than that. The M4500 is something i have been waiting for years, i hope this machine has tri piplines for cooling cause that 920 Extreme is going to blow a mobo i know for sure. Cmon dell you slow pokes enough with the waiting, your birthday is on the same day as mine! What happened too USB 3.0 its going to save so much battery life!

Current USB 3.0 solutions aren't power optimized as they all use expansion cards (instead of native built into the motherboard).

does it make sense to buy an m4400 right now or wait for the m4500... won't the m4400 be way less expensive?

and would you all recommend the i5 or i7 chipset? how about the older T series dual core chipset?

From what I've heard, Solidworks is mostly GPU based and since the GPU in the M4500 is better than the M4400, it will be faster. But if you're looking for alternative solutions, I'd recommend the HP 5840w with FirePro M5800 1GB GDDR5 - it will blow away Dell's FX 1800M 1GB GDDR3.
