    About the screens:

    • 15.6" HD UltraSharp LED Display (1366x768) Resolution
    • 15.6" HD+ UltraSharp LED Display (1600x900) Resolution => "15.6in High Definition+ White Led LCD Panel" in configurator, so it's WLED (and I think it's Antiglare as E6510)
    • 15.6" HD+ sRGB LED Back-Lit Display (1600x900) Resolution => backlight? antiglare or truelife?
    • 15.6" FHD LED Back-Lit Display (1920x1080) Resolution => "15.6in Full High Definition White Led Antiglare LCD Panel" in configurator, so it's Antiglare WLED.

    Expensive stuff. Couple of questions:

    1) The latititude e6510 appears to be cheaper. Is the difference just that the latitude is built to be more mobile? Any other differences? I realize you can't get as high specs with the 6510 just trying to understand the difference
    2) The precision m4500, what kind of RAM specifically does it take with a 64 bit OS. Dell wants $521 for 2 dimms of 4 gig each for a total of 8 gigs. I feel like this is too high but I can't determine exactly what kind of RAM it takes to price shop
    3) Why does the Precision max out at 128 gigs for the solid state drives. You can get 256 for the latitude? Any idea why?
    4) If you get a wireless broadband card, do you have to activate service or can that be done later?

    --edited to add
    5) Why no wimax option?
    6) What is PRECISION ON?
    7) What's the difference between the nvidia 880m and 1800m? Both have 1 gig on board.

    Anyone tried ordering one yet? I configured one to match one of the HP 8540w pre-configs and the Dell was considerably more expensive.

    The HP 8540w is $1680

    Spec'ing the M4500 to match comes out to $2092.

    However, I know you can get better deals by calling in...so has anyone tried getting a discount yet?

    No USB 3.0 slots and only 2 memory slots...how is this a refresh? That HP EliteBook 8540w is now lookin' mighty promising...
