Wow, good pricing. That certainly isn't the case online.

    Two questions:
    1) How important do you think wimax will be and how easy would be to switch when a card becomes available, I don't need a wireless card hanging out the side
    2) How big a difference is there between the two video card options: 880m and 1800m

Yeah ok so why aren't other wide gamut screens called sRGB screens? It's the first time i've seen it like this. And yes i do calibrate and profile all my screens.

E6510 uses the same chassis as M4500. The differences are mainly graphics and screen options.

regarding the w510 stereo/headphone jack.. can you still plug in a standard computer speaker system into this jack? I use my computer for music to power my big loud home entertainment system.. and I run a 1/8" mini stereo connector out of the headphone jack into the receiver... will this still function the same way in the Lenovo w510?

So, anybody have any recommendations for a good source for
    2x4GB DDR3-1333MHz SDRAM SODIMMs? ;)

You may want to confirm that with Havoctex.
Main reason is that the M4500 can hold two full size 2.5" hard disks and the dimensions are larger than the E6510.

I have not seen the service manuals so I am not saying I am right but there has to be some chassis differences, namely to provide proper cooling for the i7 extreme.

The M4500 cannot hold any more 2.5" HDD than the M4400 or E6500/6510. You can put in a 64GB SSD Mini card and a 2.5" HDD but that's it, unless you install a hard drive where the optical drive is.

Is there an "official" way to do that, meaning a drive caddy sold by Dell for this purpose, that fits in the DVD drive bay?

Because wide gamut is a relative to the color space it covers.
Screens that cover 100% of aRGB are different from sRGB and NTSC.

Wide gamut is a loose term, I think it is more appropriate to list the color space the display can display properly and not just label it wide gamut.
