Please forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is an "RGBLED" panel? How does that compare to a regular Latitude panel, or even one of those glossy "TrueLife" type of panels found on consumer models?

RGB LED means that the screen has an RGB LED backlight iso a White LED backlight like you see on most panels now. RGB LED can produce much more and better colours than a simple WLED so better picture overall. I still wonder what the specs are for the sRGB panel, if they start to sell perfect sRGB colourspace panels on laptops i'm in! :D

Edit...does anyone know what Geforce cards these Qudro's are built on?

I wish they would have kept the same 'rippleback' as on my m4400....I've got an m6500 on order, but have thought about changing it to this....but, 16.9 idk. If they put a full number pad on it.

I think srgbled means super rbgled sounds awesome actually, if your a college student and write a lot of documents then the 16:9 is going to bother you, like it does with me, killer.

Wonder if they will have support for Raid0+1 this time around, and whether they will give the 1.8" enclosures a miss.

As many will think not having numpad will be a good thing, personally I dislike squashed numpads and offset keyboards, even on a 17", there's always the HP for those who like a built in one.

At least they haven't put a bookshelf on the back of it.....16:9, yeah well, we all new it was going to happen.....what do you guys reckon is the closer to WSXGA on a 16:10.....1600x900 or 1920x1080, I'm thinking 1600x900 due to the shorter screen height?

Hey there Weegie....:) Yeah, I'm an accountant otherwise I wouldn't want the numpad mashed in there like that :)

Not so much the numpad Z, more the offset keyboard proper when typing for me [need all the help I can get :) ], used to use a usb numpad, but forced myself to learn the upper numerical keys, I use numerical keys more than an average person would with drawing/model dimensions, but doubt anywhere as much as you would.;)

Still it's a "pro" for me that it doesn't have one, going by notebookchecks pic.
