    Dell redirected browser.

when I try to go to www.msn.com it automatically forwards to Dell.msn.com.

I cannot change this. Any ideas?

Edit - I would up changing the home page to www.google.com, clearing all temp data, and then changing back to www.msn.com. seems to work.

    Ahh... ok.

Anyway, as Dell climbs out of the hole in my book, someone DID listen and get the updated ControlPoint Connection Manager app up on the Drivers page for the M6500.

USB3 is a lot more then just a faster interface for external HDD drives. I would like to add a 3rd monitor to my setup... USB3 is a much better technology then slower USB2 solutions availible today. Same for video capture. Faster networking, etc.

I hope the upgrade will be backwards compatible with my Covet, otherwise I am tempted to return it.

FYI to anyone that had their order updated due to the Intel 5300 wireless network card issues, and chose to get the Intel card shipped separately for a self install...

Make sure you get the correct network card!

Dell shipped me an Intel 5300 network card, but its the wrong one. Its a fullsized card. The correct network card is the 5300 Half-sized card. Unfortunately the fullsized card is currently mismarked on the website as being for the M6500, while the halfsized card doesn't list Windows 7 as a compatible operating system.

Here is the link to the incorrect card:
    http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...oductdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&cs=19&sku=430-3128

And here is the link to the correct card:
    http://search.dell.com/results.aspx?s=dhs&c=us&l=en&cs=19&category_id=2999&k=430-3182&cat=snp

    Note the size difference!

Dell's website is stupid... The RAID controller option has disappeared AGAIN, so you can't select two drives and resolve the RAID conflict..!? What are they playing at..??? :(

Not a technical mistake but a commercial mistake...

I agree with Adam! We are not technicians just passionate and we get frustrated by our order... and today, the technician was a real joke!

I did not know that you could plug screen on usb. How does it work? Same than dvi, hdmi and displayport? Or is it managed by the processor?

I think usb3 is not necessary at the moment but could be useful in the future. Anyway I understand you are frustrated (like I am too) and it seems we will have to deal with it.

What do you mean? Dell sent you a clown? ;)

    Wireless Card Dell 1510

I got the dell 1510 since they would not give me the Intel 5300 (they originally canceled the order). Well, connection stinks. Says I have 5 bars, but speed is anywhere from 2Mbps to 13 Mbps.

    I have Win 7 64bit.

    Any ideas?

Edit: I did check the antennas and there are only two (unlike 3 on the 5300) and they seem fine, but since I have all bars it makes sense it is not the antenna
