Also boot speed in the dock is much slower, now that the displays are online.
Its almost like the display detection or some part of the boot processes hangs for a bit while loading.

Outside the dock it is normal. 48 seconds to do a full restart.
    127 seconds in the dock.

    Hi dezoris,

This may help, how to Stop Losing Display Calibration with Windows 7.

Read this thread, but this is for the M6400 with a LG display. It may not be the
solution but could serve as a good reference for Calibration post#115

    I hope this helps

For those of you with Roxio problems.... did you run the update check within that application (its under 'help'...'check for updates')? I'm just sayin... when i first ran the program there were more than a few updates available.

I had all of that setup, but for whatever reason it defaulted back to the standard icc profile windows used for the base drivers of the U2410.

I switched it back to the Spyder profiles and it worked.
    Thanks for the heads up.

The bios update changes the way the displays are identified by the OS. You will have to recalibrate or force one to load in profile chooser.

I have two 2408 at home and two U2410 at work.
The 2410 has much better color uniformity and less color shift at different angles.

The input lag is about 100% less than the 2408.

After owning the 2405, 2407HC 2408 and U2410, the 2410 is by far the best in terms of color accuracy speed and overall color uniformity. A professional display with an excellent UI. (for a Dell).
If you can get it bundled it should cost you around 380-420 and at that price it is an absolute steal.

On my part. The Freeze start on the "Splash" screen. Cannot get inside the application itself.:(

Yeah, that's exactly what it did. I just manually set the ICC profiles in the Windows color management and then ran a CheckCal to make sure everything was still applied properly.

    Hi dezoris,

    that's exactly what I am doing. :)

I thought it would be an excellent display for Autodesk products as well as for Adobe products. etc…
Thank You for the input. Now just waiting for dell to implement USB 3.0 and the new mini-card.
