    here is a similar product.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...tion&AID=10446076&PID=3640576&SID=skim525X832

It also is described as being for a 2.5" drive. But as far as I know 2.5 and 3.5" SATA are the same connection type.

These are great because you just plug in any bare bones sata drive and your ready to go. Great for backing up convenience. I think I may get one.

I'm not sure if they are the same, since I can't see the cable clearly. Anyway, I tried the Koutech powered esata cable with a 3.5" drive, but it didn't work. I am assuming it didn't have enough power.

Audio from the displayport is only supported with the displayport to HDMI dongle.

    Havoctex,

I am surprised that Dell did not provide a BIOS update that will allow us to disable hyper threading.
When do you think it will be possible?

    Thanks in advance.

I installed the new BIOS and I can confirm that I now get POST video via DVI.

Just FYI.... after the BIOS was installed, I had standard VGA resolution and unlike a poster above, I was not prompted for a reboot to return to normal. When I rebooted manually, this did not fix it either. There was no Nvidia driver settings or control center - despite the fact these were installed. I downloaded and reinstalled the Nvidia driver and all is well. So...just know you may need to reinstall your video driver.

But this BIOS update is great. Thanks Dell.

The request to disable hyper threading was a recent request. It will be in a follow-on BIOS update.

    Thanks.

Any idea of time when V03 will be available (one week/one month/one year?)
