New M6500 Discussion Thread

I tried to configure 3 of th 2.5" drives, and the "Compatibility Alert" told me that if you selected the 3 drive option, the Primary drive must be the 64GB Minicard drive. Did you try this yet?

Personally I believe a year from now, there will be 128GB PCIe minicard drives that I will be able to purchase and add to my machine if I want.

Yes I was able to configure three drives without the Compatibility Alert...
I will have to ask my rep about this, I hope we can have three 2.5 drives please please please lol lol

 

Sorry mannyA but the only way we support 3 storage devices is with one of them being the 64GB SSD MiniCard. This is being fixed as we speak/type.

 

I just saw in the EU dell pages that the 3.2MP camera is now a choice.

UPDATE: But, unfortunately, not a GOBI card for EU yet...

I see that that's ok, but we can have the Minicard, and two 2.5 drives?

and will a 128GB Minicard, fit in the space?
