    Yes.

It may be easier for you to use the one time boot menu (keep hitting F12 when you see the dell logo while booting).

    Not sure, sorry.

    Hi johnhace,

Make sure that you have the newest firmware for your SSD’s.

As far as the 64GB SSD is it a 2.5 Drive or is it the 64GB Minicard? If it’s the 2.5 drive, if you have the
funds for it, I would go with a 128GB or larger SSD you will get better performance out of the larger SSD’s.

    I hope this helps.

    mannyA,

Please be aware that if you are ordering the SSD MiniCard and two additional 2.5" HDD's that the HDD's must be in RAID 0 or 1. You can not be in AHCI mode.

I'm really not sure. The invoice says minicard. When I remove it, it looks like a minicard mounted in a drive frame and placed in the primary HDD slot. But, I notice the BIOS has a selection of primary HDD and Minicard. I gathered this meant the minicard was mounted somewhere other than the primary slot. It's very confusing.

    Hi havoctex,

Do you mean; if we have the Minicard, and Two 2.5 Drives we have to be in RAID mode. And we are
not able to use AHCI mode, If we have the Minicard and Two 2.5 Drives we will not be able to use
AHCI Mode. Is that what you are saying?

Minicard + Two 2.5 Drives = No AHCI Mode Ever.

Is that Correct? Now I am Confused...

    Skypx,

Currently that is the only way to get a SSD MiniCard and two addition HDD's to work. The two 2.5" drives must be in RAID 0 or 1.

Thanks for the reply havoctex, but this doesn't make any sense to me. If the drives work as RAID members then they should also work as non-RAID members. Is this by design?
