Currently that is the only way to support 3 storage devices. The two 2.5" HDD's must be in RAID 0 or 1.

I'm trying to install Win7 now on my Intel 160. The sleeve from the Win7 DVD said the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is on the side or bottom of the computer. I don't see one. Am I missing something?

    Thanks.

I used the Samsung SSD on of my desktops and it is true that the performances are different than on the M6500 (much quicker)...

In the case of my Vertex SSD it's the same in multiple machines.
So at least this drive is not capped by the M6500.

You can see its almost identical to yours.

Havoctex, how much work have you guys done on display port compatibility with this machine?

Because I have had nothing but nightmares with it, using the Eport Advanced dock and the U2410 monitors.

If I undock, and redock almost every other dock the resolution will never sync up.

If I go from one dock to another, I almost always have to reboot to get the M6500 to find the display.

This past week, all of a sudden out of the blue the machine went into standby, when I brought it out the displays were confused.

Display 1 was now display 2. I re-installed drivers zapped the displays out of device manager and swapped cables input 1 and 2. No matter what I did it would find them in reverse in Nvidia control panel.

After a few reboots the machine would randomly fail to get to windows login and just blue screen.

Others it would boot and only find one display. Or show both in the wrong resolution.

Finally, today I could not even get both displays to come up without a bluescreen.

I switched back to DVI and everything works as it should, resolution, display detection color profiles etc.

There are some serious bugs using display port, I don't know if its a HDCP handshake issue or video driver related but I don't recommend anyone use display port with this machine even on newer monitors if you are running dual displays.

Sorry to hear about your issues. I will bring this up with the engineering team. Are you using the latest, Dell posted GFX drivers?

    Hey guys,

Here's the same drive in my desktop with the X58 chipset.

    OCZ Vertex on X58 chipset.

Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems slower on the M6500.
