    Why don't you have a look at the manufacturer's web site? It should provide support for the latest firmware.

    Acronis True Image, is a sweet Tool...


    And Read Acronis True Image's User Guide; it's on the right side,
    under Learn More the .pdf file is 8.8MB

    Well, guess I should have done that before imageing the drive! Why can't they figure out how to update the firmware without lossing data?

    yah but I just got the drive form Dell yesterday so I'll check to see what firmware it has. I may be OK, but if they update it again that will suck!

    Burn an image of your drive to an external hard drive via USB.
    Then Update your FW…

    Thanks Mannya, but I just got done doing that and really not looking forward to doing that again. (time consuming!)

    In the User Guide; go to Transferring the System to a new disk,
    Page# 165 – 171 Cloning.
