    Hi theZoid,

Press the Windows key + E, you will see a list of drives. The Minicard is the Samsung
64GB SSD Minicard, but if you did not order it you will not have it…

I was just curious about having the OS and page files on the Minicard. And if
anyone has Received there M6500 with the Minicard setup…

    Thank You,

Oh...I see...no, I don't have that ....I'm going to upgrade the HD situation at some point....but for now the 500gb rotating drive will have to do.

EDIT: forgot...I do have a Local Disk Q: showing up and it gives me an access denied message if I click on it. I can not figure out that what is.....? (It's not my external or any flash drives, etc.) Maybe a DELL utility partition?

    Hi theZoid,

Are you using a SSD as your C: drive, and your 500GB rotating drive as
    your D: Data drive...

No, it's all on the 500 gig drive....what you say is what I'll be doing down the road when the smoke clears from my bank account :)

PS: I have a wireless USB manager loading at boot....I have wireless USB? I guess I should read the manual.....LOL

fyi...I enabled USB3 in the bios, win7x64 found the drivers installed them and made me restart. No issues, all ports work. I don't own any usb3 but all my usb2 objects work fine

You know, I have read so many posts where folks about CS4 install issues on Adobe forums for Creative Suite.
    http://forums.adobe.com/community/creativesuites/creativesuites_windows
It's a known issue. I had no issue/s whatsoever with install of Production Premium CS3 w/AE and Prem. I will be upgrading to CS5 when released and they better have that issue solved.

I have my HD's in "power settings for dell" to shut down after 10 min on battery and 30 minutes on ac. I have a ssd boot and 500 normal hd and the 500 does sleep as it's set. I would imagine a delayed write or virtual disc (if set to automatically setup all drives) or other system task within 1 minute may always keep it active. I would try a longer delay and see if that helps.
