I found a problem here, after I back up all my files and I format the hard drive but I still cant install the windows 7 64bit under ACHI or RAID, The engineer asked me to format all and install the OS again. I can install the system under the ATA, but after that, i am not allow to install the SATA driver. I tried Intel Rapid Strorage AHCI Driver and Matrix storage, none of them work!

I didn't notice any improvement. But I didn't run any benchmarks.

Yes, I tried to reflashing the bios, the problem. cant install any sata drive, cant switch to AHCI or RAID (even I install the OS at beginning under AHCI).

Now I am using ATA with Win7 64bit, have already contacted with dell in the morning, someone will come today or tomorrow to replace the parts.

Be careful when you update this bios, it might reset your hard drive and you need to install the OS again!

Yes, I have your same problem.
I'm sorry for your situation. :(
To replace the motherboard, completely disassemble your notebook.
I can not today, but tomorrow I will call Dell support...
