Only the Envy 15 has 4 memory slots. Doesn't the M6500 support up to 3 HDDs? Or is one through the removal of the DVD drive?

Oh yeah totally forgot about that. Which miniPCIe SSD do they use? I think Mtron has one that is as fast as 2.5" ones (100/80 MB/s sequential R/W respectively vs. most not even half that).

im not sure , probably wont know until dell announce it or someone reviews a system when the drive beecomes available

just thinking , looking at the new sata3 ssd from micron it performs much better than other sata2 drives apparently so that means when i buy the m6500 that the drives i buy at the same time will be choked by the sata2 bus :(

just checked them out properly , they can get write speeds of over 200MB/S and reads of around 260MB/S on sata2

on sata3 they write about the same on reads they are up at 355MB/S , i was hoping to buy a pair of the fastest drives at the time of buying the precison and put them in raid0 ......

the M6400 supports 3 hdd, one through optical drive. It also has 4 ram slots, which makes it cheap to have 8gb ram (4x2gb)

another thing i dont like is that to have the orange chassis you have to have the 1900x1200 mirror

hopefully once they get them shipping a while they open up the options to allow the rgb led antiglare screen

anyone know if it has hdmi ? i use hdmi quite alot on my machine but i suppose a displayport to hdmi adaptor will go along with it
