Just received my V13 today (Montreal, Canada) - 7300CPU with 2GB ram.
One of the best ultra thin laptop I've used. Screen is great, keyboard is ok, very quiet, battery will run for more than 4 hours. Very clean design.
I will sell my new AMD based HP DM3 which is too noisy and heavy !

I even opened the V13 to look at what's inside - easy done 2 screws in the back and 6 screws at the bottom case and pull the case that's it!
Hard disk easy to replace. Battery would also be easy to replace. Mini half size Wan card. There's even a mini PCI-e slot and antenna cables for the WWAN option. Memory slot is not accessible from the bottom. I think we need to remove the keyboard to change-upgrade the memory. I need to figure out how to do this because I would like to upgrade to 4GB.

To be frank I think this laptop could compare to the MAcBook Air ( I had one for a couple of months but the drive capacity was too limited).

Great! But how about the SIM card slot? Is it there also?

About the screen, does have that "grainy" look at that many screens have? You can see what I mean if you look at a white background and move your head back and forth, the screen quality is important to me.

I have received and currently using the V13. The keyboard is not the best I have seen. The space bar for me is really bad. Very noisy. Sounds like a 90s keyboard. I am working with the Dell support to see if it's only my laptop or many other also. Argg!! I like everything except for the keyboard.

I forgot to look for a SIM card slot. I'll check when I reopen the V13. If it doesn't have one then we will need to use the EVDO type WWAN adapter.

Screen is not as sharp (crisp) as on a MacBook but it is much better than on many other PCs I've used. I would not say it is grainy.

Ouch... No EVDO for me... :(

I thought since V13 borrows Adamo 13 form factor, then the SIM card slot should be accessible from outside. Something like this, maybe?
