    Good suggestion - the main problem for me is I want to be able to play games at least occasionally and most game capable laptops are bulky. Those that aren't, like the Z, are very very expensive :). Most latitudes unfortunately do not fall into the game capable category.

    so how does this compare to the e4300? is it better? When is the new e4300 coming out?

    The E4300 is a much more capable machine...but it is also more expensive. Much larger battery (better life), more powerful processor, two RAM slots, docking station, Latitude On (if you care which I do not), integrated DVD drive, more power control features (most likely).

    Do you need it? That's up to you.

    If this notebook had come out a few months ago, before I got my E4300...I might have gotten the V13. But I might have gotten the E4300. Don't know.

    $449 for the Linux version...that's one heck of a deal if you already have a copy of Windows.

    Good day all, could someone point me in the direction of the correct ssd to fit into the v13? i've just ordered my v13 and will definitely want to replace to sata with ssd.
