There are two .exe files in that package, make sure you've taken the right one: OC_RTM875T_250.exe.

I've just upgraded my bios version to v2, and this oc tool still works great on my laptop.

    done... but nothing happens! :-(
Maybe different release of mainboard or should I need something else?
    Renzo

PS I re-tried OC_RTM875T_250.exe. From CPUZ nothing changed, I retried to bench the system and the figure are always the same: cpu 2,9 and so...

Should I use the sysinfo.sys file in some way? Actually I don'r use sysinfo in any way.

Ummm. I understand... Probably the reason why it doesn't work to me is that I did NOT patch sysinfo...
I tried but I am unable to locate sysinfo on my win 7 pro...

Where is the file (full path) to patch?

    Thanks

Any idea or guess as to when these will show up on the Outlet Store? Dell says "Coming Soon", that's all. Also anyone want to guess as to configurations and or price as they are already cheaply priced.

I guess my question applies to the overall savings at the Outlet Store versus buying brand new. I can buy a new one for $669 with free shipping.

No patch needed, to run under x64 you just need to replace the file that comes with the overclocking tool, all the information is in this thread.

    I use Win 7 professional 32 bit.
Anyway when I execute the OC file simply nothing happens!
Maybe I need to patch or change the sysinfo.sys?

    Renzo

PS Sorry, maybe it's because me english is poor, but I was uable to find all info on this thred. One example? At page 34 Jamesbaby wrote

You first enable test mode, reboot then patch SysInfoX64.sys using the same program again. Reboot then run OC_RTM875T_250.exe. The bus speed should now be reported in cpu-z at 250.

Ok. But the program he pointed to patch sysinfo ask ne the path of sysinfo, but under win 7 prof 32 bits I can't find any sysinfo.sys!

    Thanks for your help

    Renzo

It should run under win 7 x86 with no adjustments needed. After running the exe file use CPU-Z to check the cpu speed on and off load.
