Speaking to the sales people they estimate a more realistic time to be around two weeks, but you never know. I just hope that they don't have the same problem the M1330's are having.

 

lol maybe 5 days if their 747 crash/shot down/diverted by USAF, it takes about 15 hours to fly from Asia to US West Coast.

 

Hence why I said "at the most".

 

dude dell called me and said there was a shortage in the graphics chip i got, which was the stock one. WTF i have already been in build for 5 days. Could this be wrong?

 

Jagsfan, i ordered my comp the same day you did, with almost identical specs, except i ordered the 1400....if you are freaking out about needing this laptop by a certain date..cancel your order and go to compusa and buy a sony or an HP...otherwise just sit back, recognize this is a brand new model...and wait for the darn thing to arrive...no sense checking the status every day..it will just drive you crazy!

 

ha...so i just got off the phone with dell just to ask how long it would take...i didnt even have a retort and the man just handed me free next day shiiping and put in an expedite form(eventhough im sure that means nothing), but the free next day shipping was cool...haha

 

dude i ordered the dell cus of money lol. Plus i really like the dell desktop i have. I like checking the status man. This is my fist computer that i purchased with my own money and i am happy for it to come.(im 16). The only reason i am asking about this delays is because people who ordered after me, and got the same exact setup are already in boxing. I just didn't get that.

Im from Canada, so maybe I could compare shipping dates with US buyers.
I didn't get as good of a deal though.

i had to cancel my order and re order because i forgot to get true life screen. dell charged my card and then gave the credit back, but only gave 1/2 credit back. now my card has a pending of 2300 instead of 1600. with that change, its still in production =/. i better get it before college starts or i am done lol.
