    I just ordered a Vostro 1500! I got a pretty good deal and it is scheduled for shipment on the 1st of august.
    I wonder how much faster it will feel than my 3 year old P4 3.0GHZ w/ 1 GB RAM and a Radeon 9800 pro running on XP. Do you guys know if photoshop takes advantage of dual core processors? That would be cool if it did because on my current desktop, it takes over half a minute to start up.
    I just hope my laptop wont feel like a turtle 5 years from now. My 7 year old PIII 800MHZ, 384 MB RAM, with some budget graphics card is starting to feel too slow to even surf websites with flash or java. I think my PIII is a good candidate for linux.
