Please share your system benchmarks to help prospect owners make the right decision on their purchase.

Here is a proposed set of benchmark, thanks to @zhongze12345

Another test is SPECviewperf 2020 v2.0
The SPECviewperf 2020 benchmark is the worldwide standard for measuring the graphics performance of professional applications running under the OpenGL and Direct X application programming interfaces. The viewsets (or benchmarks) represent graphics content and behavior from actual applications, without having to install the applications themselves. These viewsets include 3D Max, CATIA, Creo, Energy, Maya, Medical, Siemens NX, and Solidworks.

These system benchmarks from the Alienware X17 are around what would be expected for the 7760:

Those benchmarks are after the original high density RAM has been swapped out for low density RAM. There was an average performance improvement of 10% in synthetic benchmarks and a 20% in games.

For the first few posts in this thread, post first impressions when your system arrives. For those who haven't received their system yet, list benchmarks that you would like to be done.

The 3070 (A4000) in the Alienware X17 should be very similar since the extra cores in the A5000 are severely limited by power. However, the A5000 should have a bigger advantage with ray tracing and DLSS since it has more RT and tensor cores.

110 W, with (allegedly) Dynamic Boost up to 140 W.

Did anyone start the machine with Ubuntu? Does it work to an acceptable degree? Including the docking station with external monitors? What about fan noise, can that be controlled/profiled?

Do these TDPs also apply to the A4000?

    Yes.
[Edit] Actually, the base TDP for both A4000 and A5000 is 115W, not 110W as in previous generations.

Do we know PL1 and PL2 CPU limits, in Ultra Performance mode and scenarios where the GPU is idle?
