Yup, I have 3 daisy chained 1440p Dell displays at work. Connected immediately this morning.

I get 1.5 hours on battery... dGPU constantly consumes around 30 watts (even when closing all monitoring software)

You can also try this tool to see if it says what app may be holding the Nvidia GPU active. It can sometimes see processes that the task bar widget cannot.

After closing any program that will possibly use the dGPU and settings the prefered graphics processor to integrated graphics in Nvidia control panel (closed the application afterwards), the tool reports the GPU being idle with no programs running. The GPU on idle consumes 32 watts (and is also running at 1700mhz)...
Quite annoying since I will be away from home in 1 week and I need good battery life.
Would I be able to disable the dGPU in device manager?
And does anyone else have this issue?

Tried uninstalling the MSI Afterburner Beta? Maybe it is causing the issue.

Just try it and see what happens... You should be able to tell pretty quickly if it's saving you power.
(Pretty sure other users have tried this and it did not end up helping. Something has to explicitly tell the GPU to power off and that won't happen if it doesn't have a driver running.)
You can try the "hidden OpenGL" app that I posted many pages back. It solved the problem for some users on Precision 7X30.

Upgrading the drivers to the newest ones that Nvidia provides (not the Dell drivers) helps the issue somewhat. Average GPU power is now 4W compared to 23W previously.
    Not perfect, but much better.

I have tried the app, but it didn't help anything which is weird since as you mentioned, it worked on previous systems.
The GPU still occasionally turns on and off, but getting the new drives from Nvidia has helped the issue a lot.

Interestingly, battery life hasn't improved as much as I thought. It's now around 2.5 hours (previously 1.5 hours). I have the screen set to 60hz.
The RAM could be consuming a lot of power.
