it is smaller than the adaptor for the M6600. The one on the M6600 is the size of a small netbook

The one for m4600 is almost the same as old M4400. Not sure about the size of M6600 compared to M6400/6500.

Left is M4600 180W, right with U-power connector and rubber tie is M4400 130W

180W should be enough to drive M6600, not sure why Dell made it 240W. Celvo uses 180W only to drive 2920xm + 485m

This time Dell has really retardedly design for the power adapter. There is no rubber tie, no LED indicator at the power jack. It is unsafe to hang the brick from high power socket without rubber tie and U-connector, a kick or step on the cable can cause accident.

About the ambient light sensor, I noticed that too. For that I set only 25% in bios in order to save battery; plus 25% is actually sufficient at really dark situation.

That left one came with your M4600? My adapter has a U-connector similar to the one on the right.

No rubber tie, green LED. Thinking about moving the wire tie from my last adapter though.

Wow... you are so lucky, the LED on the power jack is really convenient. For the cable tie, I doubt you can install it properly because there could be no place or groove to clip the cable root.

he meant the green LED on the brick, not the power jack. I think the american ones come with the U connector. For you and me, we have british plugs so it dosent
