    can't tell you anything about certifications but have a look at the massive power supply.

    The dock comes with a smaller power supply. Use the big brick with the dock and use the smaller as your portable.

    Is that still 210W? If not, does the M6400 cope with it?

    It's a 130w or 150w(I don't have it with me right now), but it works just fine.

    The dock for the M6400 Comes with a 210W power supply. You more than likely purchased the dockfor the E series (both will work by the way)

    The 130W PS will work, but it will just charge the battery at a reduced rate.

    Hmmm...well that is what the dell rep ordered for me. That could possibly explain the other issues I'm having with external monitors.

    I had the exact same thing happen to me. I just wrote my rep, we'll see if she sends me a new PS.

    Nah.. I have the 210W power brick on mine and I experience the external monitor problems. :(

    I got a reply back from my Rep, she wants to exchange them for me, I'm going to see if she'll give me a good deal if I hang onto the 130W and just order a 210W. I post later.
