david714 i want photos of the screen to see how this resolution fits. fullHD is too much for me. I think 1680x1050 is perfect for 17" but is not available :( Thanks¡¡¡ :)

Can anyone tell me where i can buy a third party RAM from?
I know it is DDR3 but am not so sure of the specifics. So can you please tell me what type of ram exactly does the M6400 use. I tried looking for a 4GB DDR3 module but i cant find any. Its all sold in kit(2x2GB).

The 4gb modules cost about £390 inc vat on crucial.com/uk

is there any other place or vendor i can get them cheaper?

You could call and try and get it expedited. I am waiting for mune to arrive in the next couple of hours.

My only hesitation was the screen but when I double checked with a senior tech he said that unless the screens are side by side you really won't notice a difference between the WUXGA LCD and the LED. I also, like the silver much better than orange.

A quick question if I may. I have a configuration already built and ready to order, but I am curious as to the details of the SSD offerings on the m6400. The 64GB high performance SSD and 128GB SSD are the same price (well, within $20), but I can not find the details of the models, manufacturers, or the actual performance figures to make the decision. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

    Much appreciated.

Dell does not especify the model, only size. It can be any model :(
i think is better you buy it in a shop where you can see the specs.

look for a samsung or intel SSD :)
