I can say it doesn't fix the biggest problem of all so far. Random black screen crashes citing video driver stopped responding.

I certainly hope they are working on it especially since sending out new hardware hasn't fixed it.

    I have xp 32bit.
    core duo x9100
    4gig ram
quadro 3700m, nvidia drivers, 185.85 (the dell ones didnt help so i went ahead with the nvidia ones.)
    updated bios to a05 now.

The crashes have happened random like everyone else says. Could be 2 minutes, could be 3 hours(longest yet).
Games crashing are , Guild Wars, Cod4(That i have tried it on).

Goes black, sound plays for about 20 seconds, then hangs. Then hard reset to start over. It has said about 2 of the 12 crashes windows has recovered from serious error, then just tells me to update the drivers :( which there are no updates.

BTW, I may have sounded like it was me that received the new hardware. I meant, by reading all of the posts of people who have received almost all new hardware if not a completely new machine and it didnt help. That is why I don't think there is a fix available for this problem right now. I havent contacted Dell yet, because this computer runs my professional software flawlessly, Autodesk Invetor, Fanuc Roboguide, Autocad.

I use a soft tshirt (I have highly abosrbant ones). I first clean by gently wetting a part of it (with water), then I after cleaning with the wet portion I wipe with the dry portion to wipe off the water

I would say use absolutely nothing that is ammonia based, such as windex.

    I use pledge multi-surface wipes, then a lint-free cloth.
