Wow, we REALLY need someone who has received a Precision M6400 with the Solid State drive to open it up and tell us EXACTLY what Dell is shipping!

My Quadro FX3700M kicked the bucket as well. Dell was going to send out a tech to replace the card, but I asked for a completely new replacement computer. They said it will be here in 5-15 days. What problems were you having with your video card? I just instant-messaged Dell prosupport and told them my screen was going crazy. They immediately okayed the replacement- no tests or anything.

I wonder if we have another NVDIA quality control issue here -- the FX3700s are back ordered (along with the QX9300 quad core processors) with no ETA on when they might be available. Right now both parts are holding up the build and ship of my Covet. Have requested an update from customer service -- still waiting on a response. Will advise when I hear something.

    I hate all this waiting!

The 128GB Samsung SSD is not an option for the M6400

Correct - but the original statement was that ALL SAMSUNG SSDs being produced are SLC --

It did not state those that dell is offering.

Still waiting on mine too. "In Production", and it doesn't even have the QX9300. Just the T9600. I wouldn't mind so much if nobody else was getting theirs either.
