What was your quoted ship date.

I too was told - no batteries yesterday when I got a call from a customer rep. I didn't realize it was 10 days out till they get them as they told me they have NO eta. My original ship date is 11/25. That would put me at 12/5.

I ordered mine with 2 250GB 7200's -- but have purchased a Samsung 128GB SSD, Although its MLC - I'm hoping that it is free from the 1st gen issues. I opted for the additional capacity. Have really not seen much written on this drive yet.

You could have ordered two of the 64GB SLC Samsung drives to get the same capacity as the single 128GB MLC drive you purchased, with none of the write latency risks!

Yes -- but I need more storage space -- and will be using one of my 250's as my secondary drive for data.

Can't wait for the 256's to become readily available.

The coupons are US only right? I've certainly never seen any in the UK.

Oh, now I see. I've got a 500GB external e-Sata drive, and anything that I can't fit internally on the two 64GB Samsung drives (128GB total) will just have to go off to the external drive. I'm using this thing 95% of the time right at home on my desk anyway.

We're in the exact same boat. My original ship was also 11/25. Now estimated to ship on 12/5.

    /facepalm

Just what I wanted to hear. :(

Why would they do that? This is why we're always asking for good hires photos, maybe would've discovered this sooner.

My M6400 was supposed to be shipped today (11/22), but has now been pushed out to a 12/1 ship date. The order was placed on 10/20.
