    What do you need sequential writes for? The random writes for the Intel is at least 2-3x (about 60MB/s) more than the random writes of the Vertex (20-30MB/s). The Intel will feel slightly more responsive too. Check out the SSD thread in the hardware forum, the general consensus is that the Vertex Turbo looks good on paper but realistically is a waste of money.

    sequential for when im transferring huge files through esata

    just point me to some benchmarks of the gen 2 intel well a few benchmarks i couldnt find any against the vertex turbo specifically cos i two 250GB in raid 0

    and i want the fastest , and if i remember right the new intel drives also have a 320gb drive if they have better performance and higher capacity im all over it !
