I'm sure dell builds a ton of one of a kind prototypes that never make it out of the test shop.

I look in the device manager and the BIOS and it is listed as the U9300, on the intel website as well, Ultra low models.

Surely looks good. The two-tone ruins it a bit though, at least in the pics it makes it look kinda cheapish....maybe not too bad irl. The specs should at least be a bit better than competing notebooks, the same or less will be a fail i'm afraid.

btw....does anyone think it doesn't necesseraly looks like a 16:9? The difference with 16:10 isn't much ofcourse but it just doesn't look that wide in comparison imo

ps....how did the guy on engadget NOT spot the fingerprint scanner?

Engadget is not known as the most accurate news source period. Nor the most un-baised just like Gizmodo, etc, etc...

Engadget GOT IT from this site. Just click the "Read" link and it points you here.

    Looks 16:9 to me.

    Dell Z Series,

Can you confirm that the notebook is only 1kg?

    I am holding off getting the Sony Z (1.6kg) 13.1" for this~

Latitude = business line. No point in putting a 9400m when Intel 4500 would work just fine.
