I don't know about you, but not everyone job is Microsoft Office.
A system with a Quadro or a Geforce interests many for their work.
A powerful GPU could be used to graphic designer, CAD, 3D modeling, simulations, and about any special software designed to use the GPU rather than the CPU to perform calculation significantly faster, are few examples.

True, i think there would be much interest for a slim, light, stylish AND powerful laptop....why wouldn't businesses use graphics power? Not all business is office work you know ;)

But dedicated GPUs in a slim chassis means cooling problems. You have a choice between a hot computer (with increased risk of failure) and a lot of fan noise. We are still waiting for someone to develop the flexible heat pipe which can route the heat up into the display.

Yeah it would need sufficient cooling ofcourse. They'll find solutions for it at some point i guess but for now it seems we get more and more cooling issues iso better cooling solutions. I was just dreaming a bit i guess ;)

    Well I'm quite feeling it.

Look forward to more details. Still holding off on the Sony TT replacement so I'm definitely interested if it's about the same weight range, has decent runtime and has 3G built in. The apparent Ethernet + probably other connections module is a bit of a bummer, but I guess it's a price to be paid for thinness.

The suspicious person in me (mainly by dint of the sticky-out bit) does still feel similar to some of the other comments, like it's an abandoned prototype... but we'll see I guess.

    I believe you completely.
But I think that it's the somewhat perplexing odd design of the Z that is giving some people doubt. Nothing to do with you, merely a Dell fault...
