And is it fully customizable? Seems to me more like a gimmick but ok...if it is fully customizable, you might get a good thing out of it.

From past reviews, the touch bar is customizable. It can also be use to scroll down web pages or long documents. Kind of like how the right hand side of a touch pad works.

Like I said, using it for Dell's proprietary controls makes the most sense. In the future, it would be nice to see the controls mirrored to the Latitude On Environment.

    It sure beats memorizing hotkeys.

When is NotebookReview going to do an actual review of this computer? With so much talk on here about it I'm anxious to see what they have to say about it.

When they get a review unit I assume. Although one of you folks could just type up some thoughts and attach the usual pictures.

I also have a MacBook Pro 17" unibody and like it very much. I just ordered the Z to supplement my company. Showing up at some sites with a MAC rubs some people the wrong way so since I have found some clients simply don't have the space for my Dragon I will be using the Z for Windows clients and the MBP for MAC clients, no worry of people being offended.

I did not order the wireless dock or wireless charging, I instead spent my money on more cpu and memory although I do not understand why they don't sell a 64bit Windows option for a business laptop.

Dell's response, 64bit is for entertainment only, that made me laugh pretty good but I ordered it anyway.
