It is an intriguing set of results, despite the higher power output your system remains fairly cool. I’m scratching my head on this one, while the new set of paste have improved matters in comparison to the stock one I had previously it still remains quite hot on the CPU and the chipset. I doubt it has anything to do with the different motherboard builds we have, I probably have a look again on the insides to make sure everything is secured properly.

Having and issue with a few of our E 6410's. We are receiving complaints about a blue screen when wakeing up computer. A reboot seems to fix the problem. But it will come back again. Any suggestions

Update the BIOS, update the drivers, and/or re-image the system.

I reapplied some new paste (this time the more viscous Arctic Silver 5) and tightened the CPU heatsink again. I did find my previous layer of paste have all but evaporated! I probably didn't tightened the heatsink properly back then. Thankfully temperatures are now within acceptable levels, it rarely peaks above 80c on full load. I attached the results after applying the new paste on idle.

My computer doesn't wake up from Sleep mode. Just get a black screen. I'm on A05. Should I downgrade to A04?

Start > type: cmd > on the results: right-click on cmd and select Run As Administrator.

Now type in the Command Prompt (what you just ran): cd C:\ and his the Enter key.

Now type: powercfg -energy and hit the Enter key.
This will run a diagnostic on the problem.

Once done, go to C drive, and you'll find a HTML web page (energy-report.html, if memory serves correct). Open it, and you'll get a full report and what is failing the sleep.

    Please share it with us.

Ignoring the problem by reversing the BIOS is not the solution.

Those idle temperatures now look good.

No. A05 includes those fixes, plus more. Are you running the latest version of the graphics driver? The latest E6410 Intel graphics driver was issued on 15th October and the latest E6410 Nvidia graphics driver was issued on 20th October.
