I may have asked this before in here (or was it the E6400 thread...) but does anyone here have a Regal Red or Regatta Blue E6410? Just curious to see how many chose this unique option. :)

@ John: Thank you very much John! I'm curious about RAM upgrade. Is the maximum 8gb? I have friend who has an iMac. Apple says the max RAM upgrade is only 16gb, but he found out he could upgrade up to 32gb.

@booboo12: no, I purchased mine from Dell outlet, so there was no choice of color. It was a good deal, so I didn't mind the color.

Mine's a red one. It came from Dell Outlet via ebay.

The memory controller is in the CPU package so check your CPU specs (here is the i5 540M and it says maximum memory 8GB). [They all seem to say 8GB but I'm sure that the quad core Precision workstations can handle 16GB. ]

I compared the RAM part # shown in one of the pictures on notebookcheck with mine and it seems that I have the exact same RAM configuration:

    2x2gb DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Samsung - Part # M471B5673FH0-CF8

    My WEI is: 6.6 / 7.2 / 5 / 5.9 / 7.5 so I can confirm that the 7.2 score on notebookcheck is accurate.
I wouldn't put too much weight on WEI, but the lower score could be because you have only one module or also it seems that WEI score varies between 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. I have Windows 7 Pro 32-bit; if you have 64-bit Windows maybe that's the reason for the lower score.

Modern hardware is very tolerant of different RAM configurations. The BIOS will check the SPD data on each module and look for the fastest settings supported by both.

Is there a definitive answer to which modular caddy is the BEST QUALITY for a Latitude e6410? I looked through the stickied thread, a few options, but no clear answer on which is th best quality.
