If I ordered the 4600 with a 256GB Sata 3 SSD, what would be my options down the road for installing an additional third party SSD for more storage and where would it go (is there another internal location or would it go in the minicard slot)? Thanks!

Far better to order the drive separately from newegg or amazon and install it yourself. Only order drive and memory upgrades from dell if you are uncomfortable opening up your machine for about a 5 minute swap and rebooting.

    Thanks for the advice!

My only question is, what is the largest hard drive available now (either on Amazon or NewEgg or wherever) that is compatible?

The largest laptop drive right now is 1TB, but pretty much all of them are 12.5mm tall (to make room for the third platter), which won't fit in most laptops. 750GB drives are the next biggest and they have a mix of 9.5 and 12.5mm forms. To be safe, you could purchase a 9.5mm height 750GB drive, but if havoctex can confirm a 12.5mm height drive bay, then 1TB would be your max.

That is surprisingly high -- I guess the battery is so massive that you get decent results even with the power-hungry GPU. Can you also tell us what the battery life is with the FirePro M5950?

The non-IPS panels on the M6600 are sRGB color space.

As today is technically the release day, when can we expect reviews to come out? Do members of the press already have these machines in had to review?
