Thx @rproeber & @Bokeh. I would say that to me (not being graphics/photography professional) display is even with exception of corner tints.
@Bokeh: As to pictures, I couldn't catch my tint on photo - but as I said, I am not professional...

The lower the temperature, the warmer (reddish tint) the whites and grays look. As the temperature increases, the whites and grays take on a bluish look.

I am forcing myself to wait on posting details on the panel until I have used it for a few days. I want to make sure that what I do post is accurate and fair.

I started playing today. I haven't noticed any freezes or any problems running the game. It runs smooth for me.

You guys gonna love this one. We got our M6600 today, It was a "Previously Ordered New" outlet M6600. I turn it on, and I notice a fair amount of backlight bleeding on the edge. So, I'm thinking I hope it's not a Chi Mei!...

Windows won't load, I get this wild vertical red stripes in the bios, Then a kaleidoscope of colors and patterns. I do a system restore using the Dell recovery partition, and I get a LSD trip of colors. Probably a bad panel or video card, corrupt bios. I now get blue screens, wild screen distortions too.

    Recent History....

    1. Vostro 3700, outlet PC, 9 months old. Used by the CPA for general office work, now having overheating issues.Getting a video error message, and with 100% CPU load, the temps are hitting 94 degrees Celsius. Dell says as long as it does not shut down, it’s OK. I think 94 degrees is way too hot and way close to Intel auto shutdown of 100. Dell wants me to send it to them next week to look it over.

    2. Inspiron 17R, outlet purchase, had a bad camera, back it went

    3. M6600, worked OK, but pretty bad dent on the top, Dell would not do anything, was a outlet refurb, but not a scratch and dent ,

    4. M6600, "previously ordered new" touchscreen was defective, was replaced, but the tech scratched up the upper palm rest below the screen by using it as a workbench. Dell apologizes, but won't do anything. Boss gets upset and says send it back.

But, I used a Dell gift card for 800.00 of the purchase so I had to use it at Dell. So, let's try another M6600...

    5. M6600 arrives today with defective panel or video card.

I need to escalate this to someone higher up at Dell.

Are the outlet machines still processed in or around Nashville?
