No - though I'm also experiencing higher DPC latency from the network drivers. It's nothing compared to what the accelerometer was doing, however, though it does make it impractical to use the laptop for audio/video recording.

I just got me this monster with 32RAM and two Vertex 3 SSD RAID-0. So far I had reinstall Win7 and all the driver, but two thing it bother me.
    1) I had dual dock BlackX eSATA, for some reason, when I start to transfer heavy data, it freeze up my computer, but when I used under USB it work fine, it just slow. and eSATA can only recognized one drive even know it a dual dock. Anyone know why it keep freeze up?
    2) second thing I had is, the system ship with pend (OUTLET system) but no matter what I do I can't use the pen... do I need special apps to use the pen?

Can't help with your first question but regarding the pen input for the touch screen, there is an option in the N-Trig DuoSense Digitizer Settings you can set the input to Pen Only, Touch Only, Auto, & Dual. Make sure you have Dual selected. The drivers & software from the N-Trig website work best for me. If that's already selected you might try a fresh batter in the pen. There is also an option in the windows calibration where you indicate which display should be used for pen input. Make sure you set that to the right one. I have seen it get confused with multi-monitor setups.

This may be a dumb question, but I'm good at those. How much wear and tear does the touch pen have on the digitizer panel?

    I am a happy owner of M6600. I have a following question:
Is it possible to boot m6600 from esata drive? I don't see an option like that in the bios, however there is an option to boot from usb, it seems logical to have option to boot from exteranal sata drive.

    Thanks.

I have an external BD drive connected to eSATA, and it shows up as a boot option both in the normal BIOS boot sequence settings and the one-time boot menu.

[edit] Just tested, and booting from the external BD drive works fine either way.

Just thought I would let everyone know that the 7970m dell card, part number 747m2, works just fine in my m6600. Came from a m8900 and used the same hs, just had to move some of the pads around for the vrms. Only issue I ran into was on first boot I got no picture, connect it to my tv via hdmi, rebooted and it worked. Now boots to the laptops LCD no issue. Even from cold boot with no battery, not sure what that was about. Seems to have just about doubled my gaming performance. Vantage went from 12731 gpu to 21963. That is with the m8900 at 800 core 1000 mem and the 7970m at 950 core and 1450 mem.

Edit: My hdmi audio, brightness controls and display port all still work just fine, only issue I'm having is when the gpu is overclocked the lcd will flicker when stepping up or down the clocks, at stock this doesn't happen. Using msi afterburner 2.2.2.

    Edit #2: 3dmark11 score for the 7970m is p6069, 5973 graphics.

Edited my post before I saw that you had posted lol. But yes, the brightness controls work fine. I'm downloading 3dmark 11 now and give you an update in a few minutes.
